Your prompt for this weekend is…
Gray. Shades of gray. I find characters who behave selfishly to be the most interesting to play — but they rarely believe they are acting with poor intent because our worlds are clouded with shades of nuance we often overlook. Experiment this week with this tone, this idea: what is right for one character may not be right for another but it also doesn’t paint anyone in an ALL GOOD light or an ALL BAD one.
Create an entire short play or screenplay incorporating the following elements with significance:
- One character should be a technician of some kind.
- A morally ambiguous decision.
- A nightmare
- A mystery.
